This auction is for a ladies snood hairnet. Snoods have been used by women from around the 16th century on. The snood were very popular from the renaissance fairs thru the civil war eras. The snood is made of crocheted polyester. Easy to use if you don’t have the time to put your hair up in a bun or braids or any other period correct look. This is a very practical head wear and you’ll enjoy it once you’ve used it. This snood has an elastic band to keep it on your head and from sliding. Will stretch to about 14″ wide. There are several colors for sale!
