Description
This vintage Bell & Howell Filmo-Tripod is in above average used condition and comes with a tubular custom leather carrying case. The tripod has metal legs that collapse to 33″ tall and expand to 57″. It comes with a bubble level built into the head and a removeable tilt handle that has a custom slot for it inside the leather carrier.
The tripod shows the minor wear and corrosion one would expect in something of this age, and one of the rubber feet has a 1″ chunk missing. The legs expand and collapse freely, but I can’t find any mechanism that holds them in place when fully extended. This could be due to my lack of knowledge of how this tripod came originally.
The custom leather carry case is in overall good vintage condition, but does have some condition issues. These are: white spots on the inside bottom, broken threads holding the zipper in place. quite a few small rub marks, and an end on the carry strap that has broken from it’s loop.
